Looking at how you have your hands placed, I have to believe you just finished saying “Here is the Church, here is the steeple, open the door and see all the people”. I often substitute the word “see” with “feel”.
“Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself”
Matthew 6:34
Larry,
Yes, and when I enter the sanctuary tomorrow, regardless of what my preconceptions are, I will feel all that is present. Thanks for reminding me to be attentive.
Roger
Interesting. I sensed your incitation as you sat at your desk. Besides the Church finger pupit I was moved to Mathew 6:34. As I often do I dismissed this as mere chance, coincidence, timely intuition or luck. Tonight I will search for better words hiding under my pillow.
Larry,
Always a good place to look for hidden words–the question that comes up for me: Am I ready for them?
Roger
Bette,
You graciously remind me of words [write yourself empty] frequently uttered but infrequently followed by me! Thanks for reading and commenting.
Roger
I commend you for sitting at your computer, a warrior pose. Just keep sitting and tell yourself, I am not going to write today and stare.
I am not, I am not, I am not…
be silent, listen, write on, right?
Colette,
Clever, and thank you!
Roger
Reflection is as reflection does……..
Larry,
[Sometimes]
Thanks for reading and offering your reflection!

Relax, enjoy, contemplate…. It will come.
Dona,
You give me hope–thank you!
Roger
think, write ,think, write, repeat again
Giny,
Wishing the process could be accomplished in six word stories like yours! Alas! Thanks for this one!
Roger
I am. You are. Therefore write!
Cy,
Thanks and clever.

I am not, I am not, I am not…
JoAnne,
This tack may work as long as I don’t forget the “I am not” piece! Thanks for reading and commenting.
